Planners play an integral role in shaping our future. Through the creation of a plan, Planners identify the strategies that will achieve the best outcomes for a thriving and engaged community.
Plans can take a variety of forms including: planning schemes and zoning maps, policy recommendations, community action plans, comprehensive plans, neighbourhood plans, laws and rewards to shape people’s actions, heritage preservation plans, redevelopment plans, smart growth strategies, plans to develop our economy and plans for emergencies such as flooding or bushfires.
